Tottenham continue their strong performances with a double against Everton
Tottenham continued their strong performances this season by beating Everton with two goals without reply, on Saturday evening, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in the 11th round of the Premier League.
Harry Kane scored Tottenham’s first goal from the penalty spot in the 59th minute, and Pierre-Emile Hoiberg added the second goal in the 86th minute.
With that result, Tottenham raised its score to 23 points to occupy third place, while Everton’s balance froze at 10 points in 14th place.
Tottenham formed the first danger of the match in the 6th minute, with a cross from the left side through Perisic, followed by Richarlison with a header that hit the crossbar.
After a period of calm, Spurs reappeared in the 22nd minute, with a shot from Kane on the border of the area, which collided with the Everton defense and hit the crossbar.

Kane played with mykolenko and Jana inside the area in the 32nd minute, to give Pickford a chance, but then he hit a weak ball that the English goalkeeper blocked.
Everton squandered a real chance to score in the 43rd minute, when Onana missed the ball and was separated by Harry Loris, to shoot a ball that went over the crossbar.
The response from Tottenham came with a cross from Kane to Richarlison, for the latter to shoot a ball on the jumper that went over the crossbar, ending the first half with a goalless draw.
Tottenham started the second half strongly, after Kane received a cross, shooting a ball at the jumper that Pickford excelled in tackling, and son followed up with a shot that went over the crossbar.
Tottenham got a penalty after being blocked by Pickford, and Kane successfully executed the kick in the 59th minute, with a powerful shot to the right of the goalkeeper.
Hoiberg settled the match for Tottenham after Bentancur sent a cross that was received by Hoiberg and hit an arched ball that settled the net, to end the meeting with a victory for the Spurs (2-0).
